Textured AF

"I was born to a Paraguayan mother and a French father and raised across different countries. I began painting in January 2025 after working as a photographer for many years. Painting felt like a natural shift rather than a new start, as my photography background shaped my approach to composition and colour combinations. With no formal training in painting or drawing, I learned through practice and experimentation. I began playing with texture and using sanding pads left around the house by my partner, a carpenter, often damaging the surface to reveal texture. I liked the result and kept it. I also love using scrap wood, as it aligns with my main subjects, ecological issues, connecting material and message."

Fun Fact: I work while dancing on really loud music. Cumbia and Reggaeton are definitely part of the process.
