"In my work I like to explore the interplay between human intervention and natural landscapes. This particular work, is part of my 'Cleared Land' series, delves into the remnants of villages cleared during the 18th century Highland Clearances. What endures today are the faint echoes of these once vibrant communities, etched in the outlines of crofts and imprints upon the fields. To me, these sites possess a haunting yet captivating beauty."
