Notes on the Artwork: 'This is the second version of this composition, the first being ‘Proper Treats’. I wanted to develop the idea, without compromising the integrity of the initial concept. The colours in the first painting shouldn’t have really worked, but they did. However, with this version, I wanted to experiment with different colours and to present a more considered version of the child’s head.' See more from Zena here
