Notes on the Artwork: "Toucan and Fig Tree - Inspired by my love of birds and a desire to retain the happy feeling of summer all year long. Every element has been hand painted, taking six months from the initial sketches to the final piece. You can see the hand painted brushstrokes in every part, which emphasises the areas of heavy detail in the leaves contrasted with the stark bold simplicity of toucan."
