My paintings delve into themes of woe, playfulness and nostalgia, inviting viewers to connect with their sense of wonder, vulnerability and reflection. Through bold yet sensitive compositions, I aim to create spaces where introspection meets the joy and pain of unfiltered experiences. My practice is an invitation to embrace the complexities of moving through the world as human animals and the mismatched expectations that come from societal ‘norms’. I aim to access the cross sections of vulnerability, growth, and shared experiences.

My process blends found imagery with personal photographs to construct emotively layered and textured compositions. Influenced by early 2000s pop culture and intimate snapshots from my life, my work is for those navigating the chaos and messy grace of simply being. If my paintings offer a glimmer of resonance and recognition in others, they’re doing what they’re supposed to.'
