Notes on the Artwork (from the artist): ""Slava" is a totem of strength and resilience, inspired by Eastern European folklore and created to represent a deeper connection to personal power. A made-up Slavic goddess, she rides a horse that embodies the archetype of the mother from Jungian theory nurturing, protective, and caring. Jung saw the horse as a maternal archetype because it carries its rider, similar to how a mother carries her child. The horse can help people tune into their buried feelings and instincts, offering comfort and a sense of grounding when everything feels messy or uncertain. It is a guide through the unconscious, a bridge between what is known and what is hidden."
