"Unusually for me, this is based on, yes, you've guessed it, Sienna Miller. Obviously it looks nothing like her, but I 'borrowed' her face as I was drawn to the pose and the direction of her gaze. I purposely left this portrait understated and found it had an almost vintage quality."
