Notes on the Artwork (from the artist): "Maman begins in making the invisible visible bringing forward the presence of those who shaped us but are no longer here. Emerging from my ongoing series Milky Tears Run in Threes, developed during a self-initiated Artist Residency in Motherhood between Poland and the UK, the work grows from an exploration of matrescence ( that is all of the physical and psychological changes that a person undergoes when becomes pregnant ) and maternal lineage."
