"I made this painting towards the end of a series of work featuring kids sleeping. The dinosaur 'glove' was inspired by a moment I captured when my second child was a few days old and alseep. My 2 year old son placed a monster finger puppet in the palm of her hand and found it hillarious. This kind of spontaneous interaction between my two children has informed many of my paintings."
