Part of a series with Inner Warrior II: These two new editions kick start the series of the same name. Like visual maps of our psychologies, they explore the defence mechanisms we deploy in order to survive, the contradictions, the little rituals, the bouts of self-destruction that make us human. For these 2 prints I have gone back to what excites me the most in image making which is story telling. From the tiny wolf waiting to pounce in the pocket, to the kiss-traps ready to close on lips that may come too close, each detail adorning the warriors, acts as a talisman to counteract the fears and protect.
