Notes on Artwork: "Fetal' is an underwater photograph made near the island of Formentera in the Mediterranean Sea. The woman in the image is curled into a protected position much like the position we as humans begin life in the womb. Floating in magical sunset light, the image seeks to remind us of our origins. How we are nurtured in our mother's body before birth, but also from an evolutionary perspective, how all life once stemmed from the oceans."
