Notes on the Artwork: Loosely inspired by two trees in the Leyton Flats parkland, the painting depicts a pair of twisting trees overlooking a still body of water. The level of detail gradually diminishes toward the background, creating a sense of perspective within the composition. This is further emphasised by a shift in colour vibrancy, with tones becoming more muted as they recede into the distance, drawing attention to the dancing trees as the focal point of the painting.
