Collection: Lucy Muss

I’m a self-taught artist, formerly journalist, screenwriter, director and interior designer. My love of the tiny daily joys of family life, shaped by being a mother of three and by living in Berlin and London for years,  feeds into my work. My paintings begin with something ordinary that grows into a story. I’m inspired by everyday life.  I work impulsively across several canvases, letting emotion and accident lead the way. My proudest moment- well it’s the everyday success of people loving my work. Painting grounds and delights me—I love the silence, the risk and the independence.
