Joanna Pilarczyk

I'm an artist inspired by the vibrant energy and diverse cultures of North London, where I paint colourful oil portraits of friends I meet in this lively community. My work often begins with chance encounters that spark my imagination and lead to unique stories on canvas. I love experimenting with oils, acrylics, watercolours, and inks, always aiming to create dreamy, immersive environments filled with exotic foliage and vibrant hues.

My proudest moment so far was having my first solo show on Artsy this spring and participating in the Women in Art Fair at Mall Galleries last October.


Since I was a kid, I have been a big fan of crime movies and true crime stories. I especially loved 'Miami Vice' with the juicy, vibrant neon colours. You can still see this fascination in my paintings.
