In recent years my practice has explored homosexuality and the various subcultures and expectations which surround it.

I often keep my paintings loose and expressive to create engaging and lively pieces, which thoughtfully lead the viewer to a chosen narrative. Story telling is always important in my work.

Messing around with paints and colours is something we start in childhood, generally to keep us quiet. It makes me happy that I still get to play within art, only this time with something to say.
