Collection: Dave Buonaguidi (Real Hackney Dave)

My work is bright, fun and optimistic. My love of words, typography and visuals stems from the 30 years I worked in advertising. I particularity like working with found ephemera and textures and up-cycling items that have emotional connections, which engage viewers and create reactions. My proudest moment as an artist is waking up everyday and still being an artist. Being an artist allows you to come up with as stupid an idea as you want and the only person you need to ask is your imaginary friend Barry and if he says yes then you fucking do it! Total liberation!
