Collection: Carrie Jean Goldsmith

I use various media to create abstract works with colour, light and tonal gradation key elements to my work. I love the serendipity of mark making; what can seemingly appear out of nowhere. There is, at times, a relationship with the landscape in my work whilst not being site specific. My palette comprises deep organic hues, the language of nature, with many of my pieces expressing a purely abstract aesthetic.

As far as moments of pride, I’ve been accepted into the Royal Academy Sumer Exhibition for the third time this year and am thrilled about that!
