Ayesha Pearce

Ayesha is a self-taught artist based in Bristol, UK, painting bold pieces in oil that float between abstract and figurative.

Transitioning from graphic design in 2019 to pursue a tactile medium, Ayesha fell under the spell of oils after a background in printmaking. Today, she captures objects from daily life, finding inspiration in the small and insignificant. Her process centres on stripping subjects down to their essentials to find the sweet spot between simplicity and clarity. Pushing forms to the edge of abstraction, Ayesha uses colour to create playful compositions that hum with a quiet tension.
