Collection: Alexandra Gallagher

Dreamy AF

Alexandra Gallagher's artwork is a mash up between Baroque, Pre-Raphaelite and Art Nouveau with pop low brow. Each piece Gallagher creates whether its a painting, a mixed media piece or print, it starts with the surrealist technique   of collage, using collage a way of sketching to keep the work organic and visceral. Gallagher's work uses symbology from history, cultures, art, religions, spirituality and dreams, to tell a narrative from the female prospective. Gallagher’s work focuses on the female prospective, nature and politics, while always striving to push the boundaries of her work and learning new ways to express her creativity.

Fun fact: "I tell my family I love them all the time and I never say good bye, good night, see you later etc without saying I love you. I tell my friends I love them all the time too… But I also have a really embarrassing habit of saying I love you at the end of a conversation and saying goodbye to strangers. I’ve done this so many times."
