REJECTS returns for its second year to celebrate Royal Academy Summer Exhibition rejected artists (with Art Friend's artists exhibition downstairs)

Art Friend is proud to present this summer’s hottest ‘REJECTS’ with an exhibition showcasing works that weren't selected for the prestigious Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, which selects 2,000 works to show from the 14,000 applicants. Did the judges make the right decision? Art is subjective, so come to both exhibitions and see for yourself.
‘REJECTS’ part deux is taking over Stokey Pop Up at 147 Stoke Newington High St, London N16 0NY from 4th - 14th July showcasing an eclectic mix of artworks across a range of mediums, featuring everything from a painting of a woman punching Cupid to a prize-winning loaf of bread. Better yet, if you love a REJECT you can buy it and take it home with you, as all the artwork on display is for sale. Downstairs, Art Friend is showcasing work from our Art Friend regulars, who may not have submitted to the summer exhibition but are worthy of its walls.
Throughout the exhibition, there will be events including artist talks, yoga and brunch in the midst of the art, and a portrait club, where you can try your hand painting a portrait, inspired by our artists. You can see all events and booking details HERE.
