A derelict semi-detached house in Stoke Newington will be transformed for two weeks only into an art gallery showcasing work by some of London’s best alternative artists. And the art won’t just be hung on the walls, but will be over the walls themselves, as some of the artists will be completely transforming rooms in this derelict house in their signature styles.
Artists: Adam Bartlett (Tigers of the Universe), Clare Halifax, Claud, Craig Keenan, Charlotte Farmer, Dave Buonaguidi (Real Hackney Dave), Dawn Beckles, Hannah Gilson, LouLou, Molly Braithwaite, Mathilda Mai, Matt Dosa, Ricky Byrne, Seraphina Neville.
Housewarming is the latest project by Art Friend which creates an accessible and fun experience that continues their work of smashing through the art world’s white gallery walls and making art accessible to everyone!
All the art is for sale, and a proceed of the sales will go to Crisis.

On our opening night of 1 February, we will bring the house to life – not just through art, but through music. Enjoy soulful disco, bubbles and beer, as Adam Bartlett paints one of the rooms in the house in his jungle style while you watch. It’s the best house-viewing ever. Dress fancy, whatever that means to you and prepare to be swooned by one of London's top performance artists Martin O'Brien - the host with the most!
