Summer Exhibition 2025
We’re really excited to share the line-up for our Summer Exhibition 2025:
Adam Bartlett – Tigers of the Universe
Adam’s work is bursting with energy and colour. His playful, exotic scenes captivate the viewer and are playful, bright and instantly recognisable. We love the way he uses colour and pattern within his work and has the ability to create creatures with so much personality!

Beth blends architectural detail with playful still-life which results in dreamlike spaces you can imagine walking through. Her use of vibrant colour and structure makes her work feel both familiar and imaginative. We find the longer we look at Beth’s artwork, the more small details we notice.

Craig’s deep blue cyanotypes have a calm, otherworldly quality. His work blends themes of nature, space and animals which often result in a mix of the real and imagined. With his unique style, Craig is able to create scenes which feel timeless and serene and make a striking addition to any space.

Elizabeth’s paintings are bursting with colour and energy. She incorporates her unique style with a vivid, bold colour palette and is inspired by themes of memory, escapism and identity. Elizabeth’s work invites us to reflect on both personal and collective experiences whilst providing us, as the viewer, with an escape to the calm scenes she creates. Her work certainly has us feeling summer ready!

Mathilda’s folk-inspired art brings together bold colour, playful compositions and a hint of western flair. Her pieces feel warm, familiar and full of stories with a modern twist. Mathilda creates characters with whom we instantly feel a connection with and has the ability to create artwork full of charm.

Tabby is known for her bold silhouettes that result in mysterious, playful creations. Her work brings together traditional painting and illustration and often explores themes of mythology, mysticism and the sea. You can see her influences from folklore and nature and we find her work both intriguing and brilliant!

Matt’s work is bright and bold. His geometric designs can be seen on outside murals, buildings and canvases designed to be hung on our walls. Matt brings energy and colour to everything he makes and his work evokes a feeling of playfulness. His distinctive work will bring a touch of joy to any space.

Plyconic has a passion for architecture and has an amazing ability to replicate iconic buildings through use of layered plywood. Plyconic’s artwork has the ability to build depth through use of intricately cut pieces which then create these 3D pieces. We love how the texture of the artwork allows us to focus on the form of the buildings and especially enjoy how shadows and light can change the effect of the relief once on the wall.

You can see the influence Sophie’s background in fashion has on her art; she is often inspired by people-watching and features stylised clothing and body language to capture a playful, fleeting moment. Her work often features effortless stylish swimmers painted with clean, precise brushstrokes on plywood. Sophie is able to capture a relaxed feel within her artwork and it reminds us of those long, summery days with the warmth of the sun on our face.
We can’t wait to welcome you to Bethnal Green and share these amazing artists’ new creations just for the show. Whether you’re after something playful, thought-provoking or just full of bold colour, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
