Join Art Friend Gallery and renowned print artist Craig Keenan for a very rare, hands-on cyanotype print workshop. In which you can create some unique collaborative artwork to take home! You’ll learn about the history of the 180 year old process, how it works and how to execute beautiful blueprints.
The workshop (which may never be repeated) will take place amongst Craigs artworks in his solo show in Stoke Newington.

Come and have a go in a cyanotype print workshop led by a printmaker and tutor with over 14 years of experience. Craig will guide you through the fascinating cyanotype process, starting with an introduction to the art form. 

You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Prepare your own paper with the cyanotype solution
- Pick from some of Craig’s original negatives
- Produce collaborative prints together
- Exposing the negatives to UV light
- Washing and drying
- Signing with the artists ​ready to take home

It’ll be a relaxed affair with time and space to learn about and enjoy the process of cyanotype print making. And maybe while treating yourself to a little mulled wine.

The workshop will last for approximately 2.5hours. This may vary depending on group size, and is a rough estimate.
There will be resources provided, and the opportunity to buy cyanotype kits for you to do some more at home, or as gifts for a loved one!
