Shona Bland, founder of Art Friend Gallery, was invited back to BBC Radio London for a chat with Robert Elms on his show.
This was Shona’s third year visiting the iconic Broadcasting House, and it was the perfect chance for her and Robert to catch up on all things REJECTS Art Friend’s much-loved annual exhibition celebrating artworks rejected from the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
They discussed the stories behind the show, why celebrating rejection can be so inspiring, and how it’s grown into one of the gallery’s most anticipated events of the year.
